  2.                Delete a file (or group of files) from a disk.

  4. COMMAND TYPE: Internal                  VERSION: 2.0 and up
  5.  
  6. USE: DEL [d:][path] filespec /P
  7.  
  8. d: path filespec specifies the file(s) to DELete.  wildcards are accepted.
  9. /p prompt before deleting each file.  If the filespec is *.*, DEL will
  10.    always prompt for verification.

  12. ERASE is a synonym for DEL
